Program Outcomes
Program Outcomes in Alignment with Program Educational Objectives
Program Steering Committee of Chemical Engineering Program has established the following program outcomes in close alignment with program educational objectives and ABEEK’s engineering accreditation criteria 2015 (KEC2015).
  • an ability to apply knowledge of mathematics, basic science, engineering, and information technology to the solution of chemical engineering problems
  • an ability to analyze chemical engineering data and experimentally verify given facts or hypotheses
  • an ability to define and formulate chemical engineering problems
  • an ability to apply state-of-the-art information, research-based knowledge, and appropriate tools to the solution of chemical engineering problems
  • an ability to design chemical engineering systems and components, as well as chemical engineering processes, within realistic constraints
  • an ability to contribute to project team for solving chemical engineering problems
  • an ability to communicate under diverse situations through effective use of oral, written, and graphic means
  • an ability to understand the impact of chemical engineering solutions in the context of health, safety, economics, environment and sustainability.
  • an ability to understand professional ethics and social responsibilities as a chemical engineer
  • a recognition of the need for, and an ability to engage in life-long learning in the context of technological change in chemical engineering and related fields
